When it comes to the ride, it is very easy to control and steer. This board easily straps on the backpack in seconds and given that this is not a longboard, like most ESkates, it does not feel top heavy at all. I am particularly in love with carrying it on ACTON SB Backpack. The Blink Lite only weighs 7.7lbs and is really a short board design which makes it really easy to carry anywhere. My friend’s eSkates are much bulkier and heavier. One thing that really surprised me about the Blink Lite is how light and portable it really is. I expect I will quickly graduate to pro mode which can take the board up to the top speed of 10mph. There are three different speed limiting modes that are controlled in the app but even for someone that has never spent much time on a skateboard, it only took a few hours to graduate from beginner to normal mode. It even has a switch on the side to put it in reverse. Want to slow down or stop? Just take your thumb off the controls. You simply get on the board and push the control forward to start moving. I was absolutely shocked at how easy it was to learn. The ACTON Blink Lite is the perfect skate board for a beginner. I’ve wanted to learn to skate board for quite a while but every time I have gotten on one, I have struggled with regaining my balance after pushing off and realizing that their are no brakes if I start going to fast down a hill. The Acton Blink Lite electric skateboard is definitely the coolest and easiest way to get to school! Kids are sitting three to a bench and many kids aren’t interested in riding the bus while it is so crowded. In our area, the school buses are completely overloaded. He decided it is definitely the best way to get around pre-driver’s license and with it being the cheapest electric skateboard on the market at only $299, we have a tendency to agree. ACTON sent us their Blink Lite electric skateboard and after a few minutes riding it, my son was hooked. Since a driver’s license is still a few years away (thank goodness), we had to look at other options. When asked what he wanted for his birthday, he could think of one thing - transportation. My teenager is constantly on the lookout for the best way to get from point A to point B.
